Listing to audio/video through the Duet in anything that isn't Logic Pro X seems to work fine.

I'm starting to think this is a driver issue with the new MacBook Pro. Buffer is set to 64 as with the other two macs listed above. This happens when you're playing back as well as recording although the clipping doesn't affect the actual recording if you play it back later. After a while the clipping starts slowing down until it disappears entirely. After about a minute the sound of the input starts clipping slowly and gradually speeds up until you can't hear any input signal at all. Create a audio track and monitor the input signal. When the Duet is connected, launch Logic Pro X and load a project/start a new one.
Both of which are set to the same Apogee/Logic default settings but don't exhibit the following issue. This interface has been used on a older generation MacBook Pro (mid 2014) and a recent iMac. The Duet is connected via Apple USB to USB-C connector into the new MacBook Pro 15". I'm running Logic Pro X (10.3) on macOS Sierra (latest) using a Apogee Duet for iPad/Mac.
